It appears that wherever you stand, this face seem to follow you with it’s eyes. You will get the same impression if you visit Louvre in Paris and look at the famous painting done by Leonardo Da Vinci called Mona Lisa – at least that is what I heard. The official explanation is mistaken. This picture shows a face that is turned to opposite ways, depending on our point of view (the nose is the key). Is like the illusion of the stairs going up or down.
That’s the reason of it’s title.
I’ve seen stuff like that in the mall! It’s those ads for perfume with people like Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake! I swear, those things follow you!
hm I think the eyes look right and the nose-mouth left -2 different opposites directions of the face into one

**SPOILER** I know how this works. Celina is correct. The face is inverted. Imagine a mask and push it inwards. The eyes will follow you. I found this at Questacon, a museum in Canberra, Australia.

No this isn’t an “eye following” illusion. The illusion is that the man is facing two direction at once given the attention of the mind.
