User called Wendell sent in this photo few weeks ago. If you read carefully what he wrote, and open this picture in full size, you will see a neat optical illusion – at least it amazed me! Wendell: “I cropped this image for my web sight, and found it funny that the photo no longer appears rectangular. It’s not much of an illusion, but I thought of your site when I saw it. Does the photo appears larger on the right to you?”

It definitely looks wider on the right end,simple,but very cool illusion!!!!
The illusions have been getting weak lately, but this is really a new low.

I agree with ‘no name’ on this one. This isn’t an illusion at all. I think it’s better to not post anything than to post something that’s not even a cool picture, let alone an illusion.

This is actually one of the better ones recently. Can somebody please explain how this is not an illusion? It certainly looks bigger on the right… it isn’t, so by definition it must be an illusion. Plus it has the added bonus of being a high quality image for a change :P

Oh, come on. He said right in the title that it was a minor illusion, and it is indeed a minor illusion. The pic does look wider on the right. Minor, but it does qualify.

ya…This one is pretty easy to spot…and it happens when objects in the picture are angled differently and have horizontal lines.
