Everything we know (through our 5 senses) can
be described through its attributes. There is a minimum of these attributes essential to classify. For example, four legged with a tail, would refer to a class of animals. Adding to it one more attribute that it barks, brays, roars, mews, etc. would immediately give the idea of what we are referring to. 
Even for the atheist God can be defined as that which cannot be reached or realized.  Physicist&#039;s defintion:  Absolute Zero (0 degrees Kelvin) cannot be reached by the third Law of Thermodynamics. So, 
           God = Absolute 0 deg K.
Mathematician&#039;s definition: Infinity is a limit to which you can neither add or subtract anything to make it bigger or smaller. It is a limit (in Hindu philosophy millennia before Newton&#039;s calculus) which cannot be reached. 
The Sanskrit words Nirgunabrahmam (no attributes) and sathguna brahmam (all attributes) are the limits. So,
        God = Infinity.
