Fedex Logo Optical Illusion

Did you notice there is a hidden arrow in the FedEx logo? Apparently it's a hidden sign symbolizing speed and precision of this courier office. It gave me some hard times finding it, even though the image is so simple. If you also had simmilar troubles, jump inside this post for help! Previously: "Fedex T-Shirt Illusion".

i found it! it wasn't too hard i didnt think, but i have an eye for things like that. its inbetween the E and the X with the bottom of the E being next to the X making it up. You just have to reverse how you look at it, making the white being the prominant thing instead of the writing. do i get a prize?

I would have taken a long time if I didn't see the blue arrow below the picture.

Oops! I was looking for the arrow in the small "e" - the horizontal line of the "e" and the top half of the curve making it a half arrow :s

There is also a what seems to be a butter knife between the E and the D. Or thats just me.

When I was 6 we took a school field trip to a FedEx place and they asked us at the start to find the arrow in the logo durring the tour.

Guess who found it first (after about half an hour...) me! Haha, best trip ever.

Brought back some good memories, so now, i thank you.

Hey, y'all, along the same line: have you ever noticed there is the sideways image of a house between the E and X in every EXIT sign?

Here's a small interview with the ad guy who created the logo that notes he was very aware that an arrow was present - and even manipulated the font face in order to make it more obvious...'tis amazing how few people notice it, though. But once you notice it, you will never NOT notice it. :)

there is also a "spoon" in the "e"

It's called 'negative ground' - a graphic device using manipulation of positive shapes (the letters) to create shapes reversed out of them

The butter knife is not really in between the e and the d. It is just a result of how the 'e' is written, like most 'e's. I dont think it was on purpose, whats the point of a butter knife on FedEx logo?

Once You see it you cant not see it

yes! I opened the ads category and instantly thought of this illusion. glad to see it here. :) a magazine I own has an interview with the graphic artist who designed the logo, if anyone is interested. Quite awesome.
