Afterimages Category mostly contains photo negatives of original images, ("Inverted Color Illusions") that provide a wonderful afterimage after starring at them for some time. You can check all of the sets below. There is more targeted and specific explanation for each illusion that belongs to this category - just follow the provided links. The "grandfather" illusion that started this all is original Jesus Illusion. Optical illusions of this type are often spread between this category, and related ones - "Color Adapting" and "Animations". This is because the line of categorization is very thin among images of this type, so be sure to check related categories.

These are some pretty cool illusions, but for the ones like the Santa Claus and the American Flag illusions, you can make your own. All you have to do is paste a picture on paint, then click the Image menu, then choose the option Invert Colors. Have fun!
