Wouldn't her hair stream out behind her, her purse and jacket? Also, your body naturally bends forward when you do that. They both originate from a different angles. The one on the step and hers. Couldn't come from the same source of light and the ruffles on her dress are pronounced in the shadow but not on her skirt.
