If you look at this upside-down version of Abraham Lincoln’s face, you won’t notice anything strange about it. Scientists say it has something to do with our brain percipating upside-down version of a face as an object, instead of human form. On the other hand, when you rotate the image, you will notice some pretty weird stuff going on! Go inside the post to see the effect. Earlier I gave you simmilar illusion called “Scheibe Illusion”.

Well, when it’s upside down the eye shadows are in the right place, but when it’s flipped right side up, the shadow didn’t change position, so it looked weird.
The eyes are upside down and the eyebrows are upside down too…. are the lips upside down..

The person who sent this in got a report, it told him this: The guy who created this website said that leonardo thought Mona Lisa would be a bit upset about makin’ an illusion out of her. He might of been right, might not, but if he was, Lisa is such a MONA! (geddit?) I love illusions!

I don’t get it… Why do you all think it’s scary at all?? The second picture is supposed to show Lincoln frowning with his eyes closed… not with his eyes bulging out…
The eyes on the 1st pic is the eyelid on the 2nd pic… which makes the illusion smart, not scary.
I don’t understand you people, not scary at all. It is just a very stern looking Lincoln, with some awesome transparent shades (sunglasses) on. Seriously.
