The wheel itself is actually moving back and forth. The red and yellow dots are both moving in oppostie directions. I realized this after I studied this illusion enough.

The yellow dots are “jumping” from one blade to the next, they do not actually stay on the same blade like our eyes and brain believe.

Hey if you have a real keen eye iv seen stuff like this before the wheel actually changes on its own it is not your eye.It has paturns and makes you think the wheel is changing direction according to how you look at it but it is really changing its self also. Try just following one Leaf like you would on a fan then you might see what im talking about.

It’s simple! The yellows are turning clockwise while the reds are turning anticlockwise. And the line things are turning both ways, because they only have two animations; they can be either turning left or right.

The yellow inner circle is turning one way while the outer red circle is turning the othe way, it is quite simple
