Maybe it got lost...
About 10 years ago, my sister came back with a book from her school library.
The pictures in the book were basically multi-coloured dots/splashes, nothing that makes sense. But you're supposed to STARE really hard & make out entire paintings/objects in them.
Does anyone know the name of that type of optical illusion? I can't seem to find it here.

Answer to sam:
I guess you are talking about stereograms but it's not a question of "how long" you stare but "how" you stare so you can see 3D images. Other than that, any hidden illusion requires a certain amount of staring before you can see the hidden illusions. But once you found it, no staring necessary. have fun!
